tuesday tapas

It's 00.45 when I'm writing this. I should sleep, but I can't. Had a really lovely evening at Velo Lounge with lovely people. Some spicy tapas and a couple of glasses of wine with my good friend Rachael and her boy Ace. Little Ace, a wild child with blonde locks, impossible to resist!

afterwork

Bath continues to be hot and humid. Not sure if I like it, walking around with a shiny forehead all the time. Anyway, after work I decided not to go home, and instead go for a glass of wine. An ice cold glass of white wine. So nice. Summer evenings are wonderful. They make you forget all the boring stuff that you should be doing.

this morning

I know, my legs are not what they should look like in July. I have never seen them this white at this time of the year. Three weeks until holiday. But until then my Giesee Sun self tan will do.

i'm back

had a lovely weekend in Wales, despite the bad weather. Rain, wind and really cold. So no beach. No long walks. Instead long kitchen table chats, good food, and playing around with the dogs. Now, back to civilization and ready for a new productive week.

My favourite outfits usually involves a t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. With some heels, or wedges. Less is more, isn't that what they say!?. The background in the picture is Lansdown Crescent. I love it up there. The houses, the views, the sheep that are constantly eating in the field.

a great pair of moccasins

These might not be the sexiest pair of shoes I have got but they are heaven for my feet. The most comfortable moccasin there is out there on the market. Just came back from a 2 hour walk in them, if that had been any of my ballerina pumps I would have about ten blisters by now. But never with these. They're from Minnetonka.

a sunday kind of love

Went to that new place valerie patisserie. Don't go there. It's a big time tourist trap. Their tarts were alright but I wouldn't rush to go there again. Just so you know. Now a movie and a big bowl of warm popcorn. Hope you had a lovely Sunday.

a long week

This week has been shit. You know one of those weeks when your head is constantly occupied with thoughts. Stressing thoughts about life and what the hell to do with it. When you think so hard about what you want to do, what you need to do, and what you should do, it just makes you even more exhausted and depressed. Yeah it's been one of those weeks... So I was happily surprised when I found these on the kitchen table this morning. A new Essie nailpolish 'tart deco' and a new Moomin mug. I'm a collector of these mugs, have been since I was a kid. I have got a good size collection now, the seasonal ones from 15 years back, go for a fortune now on ebay. I like.
Now off for a powerwalk, hoping it won't start raining.
