london in bloom.

Had the most amazing day in London yesterday. The sun was shining, the sky was blue. London looked better than ever. Me and Kelv decided to spend our birthdays (his today, mine tomorrow) just chilling out enjoying life at it's best. Nothing Hill, Selfridges, Frozen yoghurts, Lebanese food, Brick Lane and Swedish cuisine at Fika. (meatballs for main, kladdkaka and Swedish waffles for desserts, snaps and wine). Couldn't get any better than this!

just for a day.

I was in London yesterday. My Swedish passport is about to expire so a trip to the Swedish Embassy was a must. I really like embassies they make a foreigner like myself feel right at home. After a lot of Swedish talk and a few Marianne chocolates (a favourite) later I realised that I was really missing home. I decided to go for some lunch at one of my favourite places in London, The Nordic Bakery. Had a Swedish rye bread sandwich with gravad lax and a very delicious cinnamon bun. A little dose of Sweden and my short spell of homesickness was cured. Good. I could focus on more important things.

Two days in london.

I know. Maybe a random mix. But this was my weekend. Mostly work, a trade show, appointments in showrooms and selecting items for upcoming seasons. But you can't go to London without a little but of fun. So...I checked out the vintage stores on portobello road, ate Nutella and banana crepes in the street and enjoyed an amazing steak and fries dinner at The Electric. And drank nice wine of course. And photographed. And got inspired.
