just like a ballerina.

When I was in Sweden last week I found a box at home with my old ballet shoes. I danced ballet from the age of 3 to 15 i think it was. I don't know why my mum didn't throw them away? they're all pretty dirty and worn out. But now I'm quite glad she didn't. I think i'm gonna do something with them. Make them into art in some form. Even though they're not as nice as my latest pair, the only ones I've kept from that time (these)... I love them all. The tiny ones from when I was the shy little three year old that loved her pink tutu skirt more than the dancing to the more dirtier pairs when I was the angry teenager but a passionate dancer.

boys boys boys

My mum brought my old diaries over from Sweden. They all have one thing in common. I just write about boys. Constantly. Every single day. I'd even cut out images of Marcus Schenkenberg and glued them on the covers. Do you remember him? The Swedish model. Hot in the nineties? dated Pamela Anderson? I loved him. I wrote his name everywhere in school. On benches, in the sand, on my schoolbooks. I was 12!!!. I remember, he was modelling for a H&M catalogue back in -94 and I used to drool over those pages. Far more interested in looking at him in boxers than buying any of the clothes. Diaries are so much fun. And so embarrassing.

warm memories

morning, it's freezing out there today. I was gonna go for a walk, but I'm not a big fan of the cold. Instead I'm sat here in the kitchen with a cup of nice tea looking back on old holiday photos to warm me up.
Like this one. Taken on St George Island in Florida. On the last picture,It's sunrise and about 06.30 in the morning, and it was already hot and humid. What a great feeling.Take me back.
