what a knock out

Today I photographed a few pieces from House of Harlow 1960. The oversized ring, you either love it or hate it. I mean it's big, there is no doubt about that. But what a great statement piece. And just think, if you're ever in a fight, you can knock someone out with it.

The necklace I have really fallen in love with. 14 KT gold plated necklace with a large abalone pendant framed in gold. If you wonder what abalone is? ...yeah...I didn't have a clue either so I googled it. It's a type of sea shell...I must say it does look better in reality, me in my old t-shirt and hoodie doesn't give it any justice.

leopard

This autumn is all about the leopard, at least according to Mulberry. And we all love Mulberry don't we? This leopard charm necklace is lovely. Really lovely. Thank god there is one place in Bath that sells them. LUX, of course.

This song have been playing in my head all day! Why do some songs do that? Get stuck in the head I mean? Is it because you really like them? or just because they're catchy? ...I don't know.

zombie

I'm suffering from a minor shock being back from holiday. Feel like a zombie and my head is still on vacation, it's just very s l o w. So I will continue reading my book and eating my Swedish candy in bed. At least until tomorrow. Then holiday has to end. Otherwise I will be 10 kg heavier by next week.

From Sweden with Love

Hey, i'm back. I think I've missed the blog a bit, and all you readers. But my 10 days in Sweden have been lovely. Spent the week in the cottage and the last two days in the city. There has been alot of eating, drinking, biking, hanging out on the beach, playing classic card games, long walks and a lot of ice cream eating. Just all those things you should be doing in the summer.

Ok, so I might not be able to do any blogging now for a while, because our summer cottage hasn't got any internet connection, in fact there is hardly any mobile phone connection either. So I will be pretty isolated for a week, which i'm very much looking forward to! But I will take lots of pics! at least that's the plan.. See you later sweet readers...

a pizza and a coke

Tonight my holiday started. Celebrating with half a cheese and mushroom pizza and a diet coke. Tomorrow getting on a plane to Sweden, to start the real holiday. And yeah, also. I don't like the combination of getting on a flight and Friday the 13th. Why did I not see that when I booked. I'm sure it's fine.

Think I'm becoming more of silk blouse girl. I'm getting older! but I find them very feminine and sophisticated. I tried this one on today, 'By Zoe'. Do you like it? I know it's one size bigger than my normal size, but I sort of like that.

After wrapping this chunky long scarf around my neck I don't care if summer is over. I had forgotten how nice it feels having something big around the neck.. What are you up to today? I'm doing nada. Just watching tv and having dinner. A typical weekday night sort of. And yeah, the scarf is from Designers Remix.
