old picture from 2007Today in Sweden we celebrate Lucia. I miss all these traditions, and Lucia is one of my absolute favourites. On Lucia we bake Lussekatter (Saffron buns) and drink mulled wine. And then we celebrate Saint Lucia with songs and performances. Lovely things. The picture above is old, didn't have time to make Lussekatter this year, and also it's impossible to find fresh yeast in this country, so I gave up on that idea. Anyway they're bloody delicious.
