Been away for a while in my own little world but i'm back now. Posted a few pics from this week. This weekend I have decided to take lots of inspiring pictures, my head is full of ideas and I can't wait to go on holiday in a weeks time. I so need that. Some sun, seafood, walks on the beach and feel the warm sand between my toes, taking photos of beautiful people and amazing food. I might not want to come back. As we say "Borta bra men hemma bäst" or in english; "Away is good but at home is best", I have never really understood that. I have always thought that away is best, I hate when holidays end and it's time to go home.

You know sometimes when you go to see a concert that you have really been looking forward to and you wait for ages for them to go on stage and the supporting band is just crap and you have already have had about 3 glasses of wine and the band you came there to see still haven't gone on stage, and you kind of just want to leave. Yeah that has happened quite alot of times. But sometimes you get totally amazed how good the support band is and you never want them to stop playing and you just wish that they could go on all evening long and you have already forgotten who it was that you came to see in the first place ....well whatever I'm just blabbering, but last year I went with friends to see Phoenix in Bristol and I really loved the support band. They are called Chairlift.

my weekend

I haven't posted anything in ages, that is not like me, but I haven't really had time. I have been busy doing nothing. As you can see in the photos this weekend I have just been eating and drinking good, been out with friends and watched a lot of movies. I guess just like a weekend should be. Now time for another movie and another bowl of popcorn. Everything else can wait.

11 cold degrees

Why is it so cold again? and grey? it's 11 degrees out there. That can't be normal for this time of the year? Give me some sun before I get depressed. I mean it.

the best hangover food

The best food to eat after a night out is pizza. A nice crusty pizza with a large ice cold coke with a slice of lemon. Nothing beats that! But no more large pizzas for a while, in two weeks i'm off on holiday and I want to look good on the beach, so soon back on to doing early walks in the morning and yoga in the evening. Yeah, well I won't say too much, we'll see how that goes.

Birthday drinks

Last night we went out for drinks to celebrate my friend Rachaels birthday. We drank a lot of lovely cocktails. And today I can feel it. The pictures are a bit blurry, but that's ok, because then you know it was a good night.

Nostalgic

The nature is so beautiful at the moment. There is one flower in particular that makes make extremely happy and sentimental. It reminds me of my childhood, graduation time, Swedish summer and children's parties. In Swedish it's called Syren. They grow wild and in different shades of purple and white, and it smells amazing. In Sweden this time of year you can find it everywhere but here I have noticed that it's not that common as it is back home. That's why I had to go to the park and steal some. Well I got some help doing it. And now I'm sitting here in my kitchen enjoying the most beautiful purple bouquet.

You might wonder what this is? Yesterday I bought this 'flowering' tea. It's a small bundle of dried green tea leaves and flowers and when put in a cup of hot water for about 4 minutes it expands to a blomming flower. Pretty cool. The tea itself might not be the most tasty, quite mild. But I would try it again, maybe with different flower. If you like your teas, try it.

Today I bought this colourful print bikini from Monsoon. First time shopping in there actually. Good price too. £28. And I also found this nice nailpolish from Essie called 'Lilacism'. Ok summer. I'm ready. Come on.

I'm not sure why my blog suddenly is becoming 70% about food. But I love food. And I love to take photos of it. And afterwards I look back at them and think, mmmmm that was goooood..

I mean, this is sad. Why does Waitrose always look like this on a saturday night? There is nothing nice left!! And then they open 11 am on Sunday, that's shit. So I went for a sushi instead. Much better.

last night friday.

Had the first jug of Pimms this year. It was absolutely freezing outside. But we were determined, drinking Pimms must be done outside. Good night though. Even if I was back home at 21.30. This weekend I'm gonna sleep, and catch up on about 20 hours of sleep.
