BANGKOK: DAY 3

Hotel Review Day 3 Banyan Tree Bangkok.
An old fashioned luxury hotel that makes you feel like royalty.
Enjoyed a four course dinner at the hotel's Vertigo restaurant and Moon Bar which had the most amazing 360 view of the city. Got to try a Wagyu steak for the first time, and that was an experience in itself!
Headed out  to Chinatown in the boiling heat for some people watching during the day. Such an interesting place and a must if you're visiting Bangkok.

BANGKOK: DAY 2

Hotel review day 2: The Okura Prestige.
This Japanese hotel ,with the perfect location, was truly a pleasure to stay at.
Great infinity pool, a tasty Japanese breakfast, the spa and an insane sunset on the terrace. The icing on the cake was them remembering my birthday and surprising me with both a card and a present in the morning. Impressed.
In the evening we went out. To a cold, air-conditioned shopping mall, and it was heaven.
The evenings here are so hot and humid it's making me sleeeepy.

BANGKOK: DAY 1.

Our first Hotel to review day 1 : The Hansar Bangkok.
Top marks for the rooftop pool, the gigantic bathroom, the fresh breakfast buffet and the late night macaroons delivered to our room.
In the evening, we headed out for some Thai street food, a tuk tuk trip around Chinatown and a quick dirty stop at Khaosan road

the room with a view.

So, I'm here in Bangkok and enjoying life, work and good times. What an amazing city!
Why have I never been here before?!
Me and Vicky (my IDEAL partner) are here to do a feature for the magazine on Bangkok's very top hotels and restaurants. We are reviewing 8 incredible hotels and 4 hand picked restaurants.
And of course, we will be exploring the markets, the street food and the beautiful Buddha temples when there's time.
I'll keep you guys updated with day to day pics on Bangkok life.

bangkok.

Hello!
 Flying to Bangkok tomorrow.
As much as it's work related, I am beyond excited about going to this big, crazy city.
On top of my 'to do' list: Visiting the Buddhist temples and eating a large amount of Thai street food.
Inspiration overload and lots of pics to follow.

Oh so good.

A few shots from my incredible five course lunch at Casamia. It was beyond amazing. Truly.
Beautiful food, brilliant people and a great food experience. They totally deserved that Michelin star.
Big thanks to Jonray for the nice chat and tour of the restaurant.
A full review coming soon for IDEAL magazine
Meanwhile, all you food lovers out there....check this place out!
