miu miu

I have always been a big fan of Miu Miu campaigns. They're so strong and vibrant. And very effective. Lindsay Lohan looked amazing back in 2007 when she did their spring/summer campaign. The year after in 2008 Kirsten Dunst was their face. Katie Holmes did a great job on their spring/summer 2009 campaign, and this year they used the 15-year old Lindsey Wixson as their model. They have all been brilliant. Although I have to say, Lindsay Lohan probably beats them all with that gorgeous red hair.

coffee break

After work, I wasn't in the mood of going straight home so went for a coffee at Jika Jika. I'm starting to really like that place. So cosy and yummy cakes. Important.

ok, we all know that it's good to exfoliate. I do it every day, or sometimes every other day. The times when I haven't been bothered to do it I can definitely see the difference. The skin looks just a bit more ...tired and dull.
So exfoliate, dead skin cells is never nice! I use Dermalogicas daily microfoliant, that you can use everyday. And if you are a fan of face masks, this exfoliating peel mask from REN is a good one. So there you go! my morning beauty tips! What products do you use? Any products that you think is just Amazing?

Is there anyone out there that feels really guilty when they've been watching tv for about 4 hours? When you got things to do, but can't seem to drag yourself away from the sofa.. Yeah that's me tonight.

Must have been minus degrees this morning. Freezing my ass off. That's why I'm loving my snood....love that word! ..yes, a snood is that chunky scarf with no ends, that you wrap around your neck twice!....

Saturday lunch

This rain is nonstop. How miserable. So that's why I'm staying inside with a cup of tea and some nice homemade sweet potato and pepper soup. I wish I could give you the recipe of this lovely soup, but as you know by now I wouldn't have a clue what's in it. I just know that the white things on top is double cream, to make it more fatty. My boyfriend is a feeder. He really is.

highlights

Happy Saturday people! I usually don't like Saturdays but this one has started out pretty good.. a 10am visit to No. 3 hairdressing to get my roots sorted, it was starting to get abit out of hand, I love that place and in the end of the session they always blow dry my hair so nicely, I felt like a new fresh person, until I walked out their front door and realized that it was pissing it down with rain and with no umbrella i looked like a drowned cat when i got home. Anyway, I'm happy with my hair, that's what counts!

Can you tell me and my boyfriends nationalities? A nasty 99p Ikea full English breakfast or a delicious Swedish meatball and beetroot salad on rye bread. What's your choice? no but seriously...if you ever go there try the sandwich...and the cinnamon bun. Very Swedish.

All tidy and nice. In monthly order. Took me ages. But I do like my little collection. I know mamma,.. if you read this, I know you think i'm nuts, and I know you're keeping 5 big stacks of Elle magazines from 1997- 2007 at home in Sweden, and you're dying to throw them out. But you wait and see, I've got a plan.

A day at the races

Today couldn't have been any better. A day off in the sun and a bit of gambling at Bath race course.
My boyfriends mum's horse 'Swingle' was running and we tagged along for the day. Horses scare the hell out of me, but I do enjoy watching the big beauties.

Made a quick stop at the new Urban Outfitters store that's just opened. Quite a large one, and finally a little bit of shopping for the male population of Bath. If you're after some nice knitwear pieces or some great fashion/art/music coffee table books, check it out, they've got some really nice ones.
